I've been banking with GTE for over 5yrs, business account and joint with my wife. I work some jobs that pay me in cash and hesitate to deposit in there atm especially over the weekend, because I've had my money stuck in there machine without any documents to prove it. I used to love GTE I would recommend them to all my friends I knew my electric was going to come out so I went down to GTE to deposit money and to no surprise the ATM's were not working. So I went inside to deposit money no tellers just a screen to sit in front of for 20 minutes waiting for someone to answer on a phone. The Problem : Non-sufficient funds After several days of daily spending, I decided to access my account and check my status. WORST BANK EVER ! They will let your account reject a payment the merchant will still charge you a NSF fee that could of been avoided IF GTE cared for there member they would notify ATLEAST

We attempted to refinance our existing mortgage dropping it to a 15 year loan. The loan representative was fairly new. We had a few issues in the beginning one being persistamce I was in a flood zone. After speaking with a supervisor that was her error, we are not in a food zone. To add on to my review, now im applying for a personal loan for an emergency reason, so i must be in need of help! My checking account was overdrawn, they told me i had to clear the accounts before i could get the loan, well if i had money to clear the loans, i would not be asking for a personal loan, don't yall get it, im broke!!!!!

I applied for a $330.00 personal loan for an emergency situation. They called me and told me i qualified for $1000.00. I was happy about it. Then they told me i need to send in my paycheck stub, i get paid with a personal check. I have been with GTE for over 20 years and in my opinion the customers service is going downhill. I looked at my account which had $6.00, enough to buy my son a gallon of milk, went out for two hours came home and looked at the account again which is now showing one fee at $35.00. I have had an account with GTE for years. Since they closed a bunch of the location's they have gone downhill. The ATM by my house is always having issues. I incurred a NSF fee on a ACH bill due to not being able to get the money in the account because the ATM was not working for 2 days.
